Portal Database and WD

Hi experts!!

I have created a WD java and a dictionnary project with Java Tables. If i am correct the Java Tables i have deployed are in the Portal Database..

How can i insert and retreive data from this table for my WD application???

    I had already looked at these files, while searching, but since i am not such a good java developer(i used to be an ABAPer) i was looking for something a bit more specific about using them in WD java...

    Any other material???

    I tried to connect to my database, but i couldn't.

    I think i am not using the correct data source.

    Where Can i find it????
