What config is required to make sure that you can not employ more than one person in a position.

Currently, the set up brings up a delimit position option in hire action

Hi,

You can maintain the Staffing Percentage for the Position while creating the object, then maintain the 100% for relationship A/B 0008 between Position & Person.

Good Luck

Guys

Thanks for your quick replies

I verified the data and see that the Person to Position rel (b008) is @ 100%. Despite this, I am able to hire another person into that position.

There must be some setting in IMG to make sure that you can only hire one person to one position

Hi,

in table V_T777ZVK set the time constraint for relationship A008 between object S and P to '2'

Dear Matt,

Check these settings, you must have the relationship between S to P & P to S as 100%, that is A008 & B008, here A denotes Passive relationship & B denotes active relationship.

In a Org structure, Person holds the Position that is Passive type of relationship. If you need to restrict both the relationship to 100%, you need to maintain relationship as 100% for both A008 & B008.

The time constraint between S & P must be "2", so that at a time only one object can be maintain.

Good Luck.

Om

I see A/B 008 relationships are @ 100 %.

I have maintained A008/B008 for Infotype 1001 as Time Constraint 2. But it does not help .. same issue continues

Is there any other setting I need to make

Hello,

Have you tried using the user exit?

Put a condition in PA user exit for checking the position.

You can use EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 exit for your requirement.

Manoj.
