Transport Organizer in Eclipse & ABAP Development Tools cannot create / edit transports?!

Hello!

I'm not able to

a) create a new transport or to

b) change the title of an old transport

in the Transport Organizer in Eclipse & ABAP Development Tools.

Did I miss something?

How do you do something like this in Eclipse?

Hi Vlad

Only some functions for transport handling are implemented in ADT now, e.g. ´Add User´, ´Change Owner´, ´Release´.

All the other stuff is done is still done via HTML Gui - just double click a request or task in the ADT Transport Organizer.

I want to add a point of view to the discussion:

I think adding the "STMS" functionality to HANA Studio / Eclipse would be a good feature ( avoid logging into SAP GUI or its HTML version).
it is logical that after a release we want to transport (at least from DEV to QAS systems).

The transport activity is composed at least of 2 task (Release CTR + Transport CTR).
Having to do a login to another editor in the middle of a single activity to transport the changes we made, is not a good thing as it consumes time and "brain" resources.

I feel I need simplification for this activity to be done directly in HANA Studio / Eclipse.
