Hi all,

when trying to change a text for example a work center description. How to know in the language adaption tool to find the correct ID of the language object?

As you can see in this example five texts are exactly the same.

Dear Oliver,

a way to identify the ID easier is by checking the UI Type and the UI Short Name. For your example Work Centre description you will have UI Type "UIWC" (if you hoover over the type you will get a tooltip with the explanation of the abbreviation) and UI Short Name "CODACCOUNTWC". In addition to this you can also use the UI Element type to identify, if it's a label, title, etc.

Best regards,

Kristina.

Dear Kristina,

unfortunately, if I put the mouse over the object no UI Short Name is shown (like CODACCOUNTWC). Do I have to do anything to see that? We are using the HTML5 Client.

Dear Kristina, can you be more specific please as I can not see any technical description as a tooltip?

Thank you.

Dear Oliver,

I was referrign to the UI Type. You are getting a detailed explanation in the tool tip only for this one, not the UI Short Name.

Best reagrds,

Kristina.
