Hello everybody, I have a licence of SAP business one in a computer and I don't want to use that licence in that computer anymore.

I want to know step by step (with pictures) how to remove and disable the licence from that computer and put and activate that same licence in another computer

Best regards

Hi,

SAP B1 license is based on user ID, suggest to locked down the inactive user ID, and transfer the license to an active user (newly created)

Thanks

Olga, I think you did not read well my question at all. I didn't talk about users , I talked about computers

I'm an junior sap consultant and I have a professional user licence in an OLD and SLOW computer

It's possible I'll get soon a better and newer computer , so then I would like to remove and disable the licence from that computer and put and activate that same licence in the new computer INSTEAD OF ASKING ANOTHER LICENCE ; this would be better

So this is only for me as a consultant (ONE USER : manager) not for a client that have many users Understood ? How Can this be done (step by step)

Hi Jaouad,

We have to warn you that we are not your paid employees & we do provide help/suggestion free of cost. The way you are asking is not looking like you are requesting our help here. Also you are saying Step by Step. What do you think of us? Are we your servants??? Please follow,

Coming back to your question here. Like Mr. Former Member mentioned that you can use in your new PC, since it looks like, for the same B1 version in different PC, because here your PC would act like the front-end system for executing your B1 Transactions & your Server, where the SAP Product installed, remains fixed. We would go for User License Conversion ONLY if say we are upgrading to newer B1 version & then you can, convert the user license to the B1 newer version by the help of your SAP Partner.

Thanks,

Kaushik

Hi,

I really doubt how is the SAP B1 license setting in your environment

From what I understand, the SAP B1 license is attach to each user ID, as long as the user ID is active and the license is valid, the user ID should be able to login from any pc in the same environment/network, it doesn't matter whether it is old or new pc.

Anyway, if you need others help, please mind your wording and be humble always, the last sentence really make me feel uncomfortable...

Thanks
