Life and Work Events configuration

I am trying to configure LWE for ERP2005 ECC6

I have read the wiki below, but this does not offer the information I require.

I have also read this blog

and the SAP Help (which offers NO configuration information)

The processes seem to work when I test them using Instantiation - Generate Instantiate URL - Open Instantiate Application.

However when I go to the LWE area menu it simply lists the information message

" There are no services in this Area "

I have checked the configuration on my R/3 system and all the services are available - none have been removed.

Any clues would be very much appreciated.
