We are a custom machine shop company and we provide automation solution for our clients. No two machines are the same, and we do a lot of our work in-house and some work outside.
I am trying to create a production order using a BoM. We have projects involving Sub-Assemblies containing over 300 parts and sometimes 100 of these parts are outsourced. Most of the parts needs to processed multiple times from different vendors, for example the part needs to go out to vendor A for machining and then come back and we send it of again to vendor B for black oxide coatings.
How do we manage/track this item inside SAP?
