problem with opening of new page or new session.

Go to ESS-> Personal Information -> Personal Data, go to Edit screen, after navigating to the second screen, the click of "exit" button opens a new session.

In almost all the applications the navigation from second screen onwards and if clicked on exit button opens a new session. It should open a new session.

Please suggest me to solve this problem

Hi Kiran,

You can do it in two ways one is you can change this behaviour for yourself i.e go to personalize link(which will appear if you have eu_role) in the mast head and change the work protect mode settings.

The other is you can change for everyone i.e go to system administration system configuration services and in portal content navigate to com.sap.portal.epcf.loader and open and in the properties change the work protect mode settings like 0,1,2 the way you like.
