hi,

for URL http://server:port) are you using ip or host name.

if host name. then can you check it has an entry in hosts file.

if your SLD is on diff server then first check can you access it from your server's IE.

Hi, thanks for the answer.

I checked those two options and the host is declared in my hosts file and everything is configured in only one server.

I don´t what else could it be, but there's something....

I´m using the NWDI for first time in the server, so, when I execute the "update cms" option to load the "Software Components" and be able to work with them, the list of components has 2200 objects; all these objects are not new, but this is the firs time that they are gonna be loaded.....can this be the cause of the "Read timed out" error???

Well, thanks again and I wait for the answer....

HI,

you need to check wheather your SLD is configured correctly

check in Visual Admin, cluster>Services>SLD Data supplier and click on CIMTestclientSettings

you need to check SLD data supplier and make sure it is working

Hi, thanks all.

I checked the SLD "CIMClient Test", and is working fine (CIMOMClient object generation and connection test successful)...

I'm going to try the server restart, and I'wll let you know...

Hi,

Check you have given the correct url or not and also see the url for system landscape directory from CMS.
