    Hi,

Just check for the personal number in pa30 for Infotype 0009

whether there any data mismatch is there.

because the error is regarding error for date mismatch only

it is saying that there is some date mismatch for the

    dates. 31.12.9999, 15.01.2007

    Kind Regards

      Hi hari,

There is some data inconsistency .I ran the report RPUFIXDS for removing the data incosistencies .But the report is not able to remove the inconsistency showing this long text.

Change before earliest retro. date 01.04.2008 acc. to control rec. to py area AE

      Message no. RP456

      Diagnosis

The master data change that you carried out is relevant to payroll.

It comes before the earliest retro date according to control record that changes relevant to payroll for this employee can be made.

      System Response

You can not carry out the change.

      Procedure

Check your entries and the status of the control record of payroll area AE (transaction PA03)

Can i change the earliest retro. date in PA03 .......Is there any problem in doing so.?If not how to change it.

      Pls suggest.

      Thanx and regarda,

      Rajesh

does the same error message appear when you try to make any change in the backend PA30 transaction? Also please check whether this is appearing for this personnel number only, or for all employees.

    • Hi,

I have recieved a similar error while trying to change Address details of an Employee, in Portal.

Grouping error can happen due to:

=>some inconsistencies in using the class CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_CONTAINER while saving HR Master Data

=>In the case of new hires, it may happen that no grouping values are determined and therefore the grouping value SPACE is written to the corresponding Infotype records.

This can be corrected by applying SAP notes :

      [783499 - Incorrect framework synchronization|https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/notes]

      [845592 - Incorrect framework synchronization - Retroactive accounting |https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/notes]

To apply the second note, you need BASIS assistance.

Note 7834499 covers running the report RPUFIXDS.

I got the problem resolved with this note.

In your case, you have already recieved an error after running the report.

For mass updation of employees, you need to Run report RPUTRBK0, which resets the retro. dates

(for both Time and payroll related fields)

Try running the report with database updation (Test run (no update)

And analyse what changes it makes. If not used correctly will cause problems.

(I have not tried run'n this, so can't comment more on this)

For a Particular employee. Take the PERNR in pa30.

      Utilities->Change Payroll Status

      == Or else. ==

Changes made, affect the Infotype 0003.(Payroll Status)

So, take the PERNR for Infotype 0003.

I guess you have to erase what ever the date that is in Earliest MD change field.

This will block the system from doing retroactive accounting upto the date specified.

I suggest you try with one PERNR, before you go for mass updation.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,

      Remi

    Hello Rajesh,

Normally such a message hints to the fact, that a person should be

processed, where its MOLGA does not fit to that country specific

screen structure, which is used inside this ESS scenario.

Perhaps the used screen structure is the US specific

    HCMT_BSP_PA_US_R0006 ?

    The solution should be

The only things to do concern the note 783499:

    - set the switch CCURE/PC_UI in the table T77S0 to 'X'

    - correct the feature IVWID

    - execute the report RPUFACEVIEKN

    - execute the report RPUFIXDS

The report RPUFACEVIEKN will only align the field VIEKN according to

the feature IVWID. This won't trigger any retroactivity and this is

    only a technical change.

    Hope this information should help.

    Best Regards,

    Deepak...

Only one addition to deepak's input

schedule the report in background, we had similar issue for an upgrade and the only way that you can stop this forever is scheduling the report in background.
