Snapshot Filter in SAP IBP

Hi,

In my current scenario it`s necessary to execute a Snapshot Operator to capture information just for some defined attributes values in a certain Key Figure.

The information in Snapshot Key Figure of the rest of must be intact.

When the filter is applied, the snapshot runs for all attribute values and the ones not assigned in the filter receive value equal to "null".

I don`t want to solve this problem using a normal Copy Operator.

Does anyone have ever faced this problem before?

Attached there is an example of the problem.

HN

Henrique,

The behavior you are seeing is the standard behavior. You will get everything or nothing when filter applied. The reason you are seeing NULL for the non-filter value is that there is no snapshot taken for those combinations.

What you can do is using EPM options you can only show the data which has values in it and filter the NULL cells. Doing that you won't see the null values. I see that is not your requirement but what you can do is create a different snapshot with different filter and report out of that.

Hope that helps!

Ankur
