Excise tab missing during Migo

J1ID setting made well even then excise tab is missing in migo.

Pls suggest where I made mistake.

Check whether SAP Note 1079123 - Missing Excise tab in MIGO is applied properly or not?

Symptom: - In Transaction MIGO, in case of goods receipt with excise,Excise Tab forthe corresponding material document is not displayed from Release 470 andabove.

Solution: - Please apply the code changes as specified in the note.

Hi,

Please check if there is a valid tax code in the PO. Also check if the movement type has been made relevant for excise. Both these combine to give Excise tab in MIGO.

Hai,

You have to maintain the movement type for Registers RG1, RG23A & RG23C for Part1 entry. Goto SPRO - Logistics general - Tax on goods & Movements - India - Business transactions - Specify which mvt types involves excise invoices.

If you maintain this properly in Customising settings, then Excise tab will appear in MIGO.

Hi Samuel,

Check Below mentioned Settings. I hope it will solve your purpose.

1. SPRO>Logistic-General> Tax on Good Movements>India>Basic Settings--> Maintain Excise Group

In this Select the entry and click on the detail view. There you will find the block for MIGO Settings.

Check EI Capture Check Box is tick or not. ( It should be ticked for Excise Tab)

2. Maintain J1ID

a) Check Chapter Id of Material is maintained or not

b) Check Material Type for the combination of Mateial number and Chapter Id. It should be 'Raw Materials'. Then only Excise Tab will appear.

3) In MIGO transaction, once you click on the check box at item level, then only Excise tab will appear. Provided checked Item is a ' RAW MATERIAL'.

After entering necessary details, select item ok and press enter then Excise tab will come.

you have to check minimum three things to come excise tab in migo

1-SPRO>Logistic-General> Tax on Good Movements>India>Basic Settings--> Maintained Excise Defaults

2-Main J1ID

3-In Migo bettom there is is a item tab you should ok the item tab

If your J1ID master data is correct, the check whetehr excise values are getting calculated in PO.If it is correct then excise tab should appear in GRN.Also,

1.Check the item as OK then only excise tab will appear.

2.See to it that you do after excise tab appears you do not select "No Excise entry".If you select this excise tab will disappear.

Make sure that you have maintained the Excise Default Settings for Tax Procedure

Path

SPRO>Logistic-General> Tax on Good Movements>India>Basic Settings--> Maintained Excise Defaults

Also check all J1ID related data is maintained

Material and chapter id combination

Cenvat determination

The Vendor details and vendor status is maintained.

Hi,

Check whether the material, vendor entered in J1ID are same in MIGO, also you need to click on the check box OK and press enter to see the excise tab.
