Does SPC in SAP ME 15.1 require you to run configuration tasks for SAPMEINT

Hi,

I have SAP ME 15.1, SAP XMII and SAPMEINT deployed on my server.

I want to run SPC in SAP ME 15.1 but get the error
"Chart template Visiprise/SPC/DefaultChartTemplate does not exist (Message 19520)"

So I have both SAPXMII and SAPMEINT deployed on the server.

Do I have to run CTC for SAPMEINT to get this to work? It seems a bit much, since we don't have any SAP ERP system and a lot of the configuration is for the ERP connection.

I am also getting same error while loading SPC Display link in SAP ME.

I have followed all the three steps mentioned in guide.

1. Add XMII_USER Action to SAP_ME_USER Role.
2. Assign SAP_ME_USER Role to XMLConnector. Use the following steps to assign the role to the XMLConnector Server in the SAP MII database table XMII_SERVERPRMMAP. 1. Access the MII database with an application that can modify the database via an SQL statement 2. Run the following statement against the MII database: insert into XMII_SERVERPRMMAP (SERVERNAME, ROLENAME) values ('XMLConnector', 'SAP_ME_USER'); Note the MII tables are located in the same database used by Netweaver.
3. Destinations Configuration

After performing these steps and doing Data Collection successfully also I am getting the same error.

Error: Chart template Visiprise/SPC/DefaultChartTemplate does not exist (Message 19520)

I think you need to add some MII related security roles/actions to your user and then configure some HTTP destinations in the Netweaver administrator. These are/were manual steps and I don't have the instructions handy so you will have to look thru the installation and configuration/help docs to get the details.

Thank you for the answer.

I have now added MII roles and come a bit on the way. The SPC graph window appears, but the actual graph is not showing. I attach a screen shot how it looks on the screen.

Hi Christian,

Yes. That is the document that I am following together with the SAP ME installation guide, but somehow the graph is not showing.
Default netweaver logs does not show any error.

At this point I would suggest firing up the developer tools in chrome and walk it back from there. I would also turn up logging in NW as well.
