Split wage type not adding to correct amount

Hello

I have an issue from user where he says he has determined that WT 1000 is split into two different WT's, WT2000 and WT 3000, and the two WT's 2000 and 3000 do not add up to the total of WT1000.

Can anyone please tell me where to look for this..
