Hi,
here is the note:
Error in report definitions after upgrading to Add-On 2005
Symptom
After upgrading XL Reporter AddOn from 2004 SP 02 to 2004 SP02 patch 1 or newer, one or more of the old report definitions can stop working. The error message "An error occurred while Executing report! Description: Definition parsing failed. Details: Syntax error near: ( at cell $B$25" or similar appear.
Other terms
Business One, XLR, Report Organizer, Report Designer
Reason and Prerequisites
XL Reporter has earlier divided Business Partner into two objects: Customer(CUS) and Vendor(VEN). Since this is not how Business One operates, CUS and VEN has been merged into one object, Business Partner (BPA), in XL Reporter 2004 Addon SP02 Patch 1 and subsequent releases. This causes old reports using attributes or selections on VEN or CUS to fail.
Solution
Edit the old report definitions in Report Designer and replace all selections and attributes based on CUS or VEN with BPA.
