Hi,
I'd like to ask you if you could help me with one problem on PI 7.3 SP14, after System restart we see SOAP Adapters in ERROR with this error message in Logs:
UnexpectedException1 while requesting channel status from AAM
Thrown:
java.rmi.UnexpectedException: UnexpectedException while processing cluster nodes specific channel information.
at com.sap.aii.mdt.amt.channelmonitoring.SummaryChannelList.setClusterChannelsInformation(SummaryChannelList.java:757) ...
I have found this link https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/Cluster+Communication+Parameters+in+Process+Integration where the same issue is describe, we have raise the parameters:
clusterCommunicationTimeoutMsec
messaging.cluster.timeout
to 120000, but we still the same issue after restart.
Do anyone have any experience what we could try as well?
Thanks,
Milan
Hi Mark,
it is just a Dev System, I'm pretty sure there are no messages going through so we just do stopsap and startsap commands and after system start up some channels are in Error... So we are definitely do not follow procedure defined in Note 1884085... I have just try to schedule this SuspendResumeAFWJob job without system restart and starting is again, there were quite a few 50+ channels in Error. SOAP Proxy and IDOC channel mostly...
What I would like to avoid is to stopping and starting the channels manually because then you will loose the info which one are controlled manually and which one automatically.
Thanks for feedback,
Milan

Hello Milan,
How exactly do you restart? Do you follow the recommended procedure as per the note(s) below?
1) 870864 Starting and Stopping a SAP PI system
2) 1322293 Start and stop sequence of PI with load balancer (if applicable)
What happens if you do a dummy change to the these channels in the Directory and then save and activate the Change list?
Regards
Mark
