Connecting SAP Data services to GIS through web service

Hie gurus?,I am trying to connect SAP data services to geo info system through a web service,however when I enter the web service url in the data store and click apply,it brings an error saying the data service cant read the Json format.Do I need an sdk or a JSON adapter in data services so as to safely connect to the system?

Hi Geogre,

There are use different Data store types for web services i.e.

1.Adapter

2.Web Service REST

3.Web Service SOAP

Out of the above three which one is you have choosed it may be matter.

Normally most of people are used SOAP web services. But again it will depend on business requirement.

So, please clarify in detail.

That message is not very helpful, is it? Do you have the "previously displayed error message", too?

You may try and save the file on disk and have the datastore definition refer to the file instead of the url.
