SAP PI ACK

hi,

I trying to fully understand the use of ACK in SAP PI. (no ccBPM)

AFAIK if we want to receive an ACK from the receiver adapter the sender (client) should request it first.

but how could i do in case my escenario is QoS EO JDBC---PI----SOAP (EO)?

is there any configuration i have to do in NWA to activated it?
