3 Posting Periods allowed in MIRO

Hi

We have a situatation where our allowed posting periods are only Apr'08 & May'08 whereas in OB52, Mar'08 is also open for finance reasons.

Now the problem here is, system is allowing MIRO in all the 3 periods - Mar'08,Apr'08 & May'08. Can someone suggest how can we control this so that MIRO is not possible in Mar'08.

Regards

Vikas

    hI,

IN MM SIDE ONLY U CAN POST 2 PERIOD ONLY( current period and current minus one ) if you set in T.code: MMRV back posting is allowed .In MMPV u can close the period last period and automatically system open the new one.In FI SIDE in t.code: OB52 and u can open any period in Account Types A, K, D,M, S and specially Account Type “+” which stands for valid for all accounts type and save and post. Better consult FICO consultant for posting of any pending doc's in previous period.NOT POSSIBLE TO POST MM SIDE FOR 3 PERIODS .

      Dear Vikas,

We have come across the same problem. System allows for March alone since it would be required to clear GR IR after MB5S. This is std system behaviour. If you do not want to post in march only way is block the GL in OB52 . Check with FI

In case you refer OSS please post the reply here for us to see.
