How can we differentiate between production scheduler and MRP controller?

Hi,

MRP Controller is basically a planner. He generally belongs to planning section.

Defination of MRP controller - "The person responsible for a group of materials in MRP in a plant or company.

Material that takes part in material requirements planning must be assigned to an MRP controller."

Production Scheduler is basically a shop floor person who is work on production order or REM backflushing execution.

Defination of Production Scheduler - " Scheduler responsible for a material in production activity control. for eg - The production scheduler determines how capacity requirements are calculated for a material during a scheduling run."

Hope it is clear. Pl reward for this.
