I could configure sending SMS through HTTP, SMS is sent but in SAP it is not getting response text.

As per the documents available for configuring SMS service through HTTP, we have followed all the steps to send SMS through third party.

The SMS is delivered also using the settings, but acknowledgement/RESPONSE is not captured in SAP and due to that it goes into wait state and keep sending the message after the configured interval. When I look into the error message it says "Message can not be transferred to node HTTP due to connection error".

So I'm looking for help on what should be done so that SAP can get the RESPONSE text and hence it shows status as send OK (green) while looking through T-Code SOST.

Well, after these many days of trial and errors with various SMS service providers, finally I could manage to send SMS and got the proper response text.

What I could observe is that when I get response in xml format, I'm facing the issue. But one of the service provider generating certain numeric response codes for success, wrong password, wrong user name etc. The same response code is being understood by SAP HTTP services and we are able to start using SMS services smoothly. We are having SAP ECC 6, EHP 7.

Is there any one who successfully able to manage the same situation with the response text in xml form...?? If yes, kindly let us know.
