Endless Loop at Account Activation

Dear Support Team,

a friend of mine has a problem with his account activation. He follows the instructions here and after step 1 he gets the e-mail.

But after he select the link in the e-mail he gets the same e-mail again and again.

Is it possible for you to check this procedure and to help us.
