Variant Configuration

Hi,

In the Project builder CJ20n i want to change the characteristics value of the variant configuration. Is this possible ???.

For the same i am clicking on the Network header and in the menu bar i click on the Extras --> Configuration --> Characteristics Value Assignment. It gives an error "Network status does not allow you to change the configuration"

The Project is assemble to order and the characteristics value is getting copied while creating sales order thru standard network.

Hi,

Because this is an assembly order.

I believe you can change the characteristic value only in the SALES ORDER.

Because any changes there in sales order will get reflected in the network directly and not vice-versa.

the reason is that only the released standard network can be used for the Assembly processing.

So try to change in the sales order.
