Task list Problem in PM

We are facing this below problem when changing General Task list in PM

XX group counter 1

XX group counter 2

When he attempt to save either task list after adding a new sub-operation, SAP reports "Routing - XX/2 is inconsistent due to duplicate operation numbers." Brian Ridgway has confirmed the problem, but can find no errors in the task lists.

What would be the cause of this problem

    Hi..

I think you are maintaining consistency check for the task list status, If that is the case please check it out in IMG settings > maintenance plans, workcentre, tasklist >General data-->maintain task list status, in that find the check mark for the consistency check for each status. For more information please press F1 for help in the check box

    best regards,

      hi ..

You cannot carry out consisitency check for PS and PM modules. If u the set that indicator , that will be ignored.

Check for Duplicacy of operation and suboperation numbers will be carried out in PP and QM.

I too do not know the Exact scenario to explain you.

      Thanks and best regards,

      Praveen
