SAP BODS Job Migration from 4.2 SP3 to 4.2 SP9

Hi,

Installed version of SAP BODS 4.2 SP3 and want to upgrade to 4.2 SP9 , because i am going to install SAP BO BI Platform version is 4.2 SP4.

So, my concern is whatever jobs i have created in SAP BODS 4.2 SP3 do i need to migrate it to SAP BODS 4.2 SP9 or need to redevelop all jobs?

I found below link regarding BODS upgradation -

Above link says that need to migrate jobs through Data Services report Manager

Please suggest me Procedure to Migrate jobs and Migration Procedure from BODS 4.2 SP3 to 4.2 SP9.

Hi Mahesh,

There is no need to recreate all jobs again in the upgraded environment, you can just upgrade your existing repo using the upgraded ( 4.2 SP 9 ) Repo manager. you can also upgrade using al_engine parameters if the repo count are larger.

P.S - please take a back up copy of the existing repo contents before you upgrade the repo.
