Hello Friends,
I have created many CBTA Test Configurations and able to assign Test Data Container, its variants and able executed successfully. I have added the CBTA Test Configurations into E2E Composite Test Configuration and able to execute with ECATTDEFAULT variant.
Issue: when i try to assign TDC variant to E2E Composite Test Configuration, it wont show any parameters from Composite test configuration and unable to Map between Test Configuration & TDC, so unable to complete the step. it would be great help provide me some feasible solution/documentation in this regard.
Thanks,
Subba
Hello Subba,
Do you see the parameters in the Composite Test Configuration ?
Once that is done, create a TDC and import the parameters from Composite Test Configuration into TDC using the menu option within the TDC.
Then create additional variants within the Variants tab of TDC
Once that is done then link the TDC to the Composite Test Configuration
Now you should be able to see additional variants within the Composite Test Configuration, when you click on execute you should be able to see all the variants added then check the variant you want to be executed and click on execute button.
Thanks,
Aj

Hi Ali,
You need to expose the parameters in Composite Test Configuration and assign it to the TDC Variant. Exposing is done like Composite Test Configuration -> Parameters -> All Possible Parameters -> Check 'Script Parameter' check box in Expose column which you need to assign TDC variant, then the parameters are visible while assigning TDC variant.
Thanks,
Subba

Hi Christina,
After exposing the parameters in the single TCs I am getting the parameters and added them to create a new variant
But while executing the composite script, it seems that data from the variant is not getting passed to the script
Please help

Hi Christina,
I am following the same steps what you have suggested, but still not getting any parameters showing in tes tconfiguration level.

Hi Subba,
you need to expose the parameters first in the single test cases. Otherwise they are "visible" for a TDC or other test scripts inside a Composite test. Exposing is done in the single test case --> tab Test script --> area Parameters. Change for all parameters, which you want to have "visible", the value in the first column "usage" to "Exposed".
Kind regards,
Christina
