Are SMS supposed to give delivery and bounce information?

Dear all,

I have set up SMS sending via SAP Mobile Services in hybris marketing.

I can't find back documentation related to SMS and the statistics that are supposed to come out of it.

Currenly I can only see "Outbound Text Message" in the interactions.

However for some phone numbers my text messages are not being delivered, and for other phone numbers they are being delivered. But I don't see any SMS opened or SMS bounced statistics coming back.

Is this normal or am I supposed to get this kind of information?

Thanks,

Joyca

    Dear Joyca,

As you're using SAP Mobile Services, hence using 'SAP SMS 365' for Text Messages. In Hybris Marketing, email bounce and statistics are available!

Have you heard about the reporting tool for SAP SMS 365 and its features? - Report Manager, a web-based reporting tool is available for all SAP SMS 365 customers. It provides you a view your SMS traffic statistics and enables you to investigate messages.

I do get email bounce statistics, but no sms bounce statistics (or did you mean to type sms bounce statistics?)

The reporting tool sounds interesting; but the post does not mention how or where to access it?

The two blogs are known to me and the configuration is exactly like these describe, with "You have a User and a Password as well as a URL and a Path Prefix", these are all confgured. It's just one specific phone number that does not get any text messages delivered and I can't figure out why; plus I don't get any "delivered" statistics ... the blogs are not mentioning this unfortunately.
