You can call FuMo PROGRESS_INDICATOR to by-pass the session timeout from parameter 'rdisp/max_wprun_time'.

but function module Progress_indicator does not have parameter 'rdisp/max_wprun_time'.

Max. run time for a dialog process without user interaction is configed in profile parameter (RZ11) 'rdisp/max_wprun_time'.

If you use the FuMo PROGRESS_INDICATOR to update the user with process, this is an user interaction and resets the timer for 'rdisp/max_wprun_time'.

Hi Pooja,

Seems you are trying to put maximum wp run time using ABAP code than profile parameter. If this is the case, why you need to do that if SAP is providing a default parameter?

If you are looking to by pass this parameter for particular report/tcode then it may impact your over all system performance. Why can't you just optimize your program to run within limits?
