Hi,

SAP B1 is a ERP application software, this is different career path and should not compare with Java, .net etc.,,

In SAP B1 if you want, you need to start as consultant one of as Implementation, Technical consultant, support consultant.

The carreer path will be like consultant, Sr. Consultant, Project manager, Delivery manager, group manager etc.,

Continuous learning means the new functionality added in the product, versions released etc.,

But the main roll is based on the customer functional requirements should be mapped with product, if it not there need to develop through the dot net by technical consultants.

SAP has a plan to implement more B1 in many of the countires particularly for SMB segments and the expecting space availability to consultants nearly 10 lacs for next 2 to 3 years I hope.

Hi Aparna,

There is a complete e-learning curriculam which guides you step by step through each and every module.

There are questions on each section and also there is a 80 question sample test that you can also take.

Aparna,

If you are working for a SAP Partner then with your 'S' number you should be able to access the files.

If you not a SAP Partner then I don't think accessing these files is possible.

I believe you have all good intentions behind showing up on this Forum. I would urge that you do not use this for commercial business promotion.

Search the Forum for term "Future of B1" and you should find a few threads on this topic.

B1 as you already know is not a programming language. It is a pre packaged solution for Small and Medium enterprises.

B1 has certain standard functionility like Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Production, CRM, MRP, etc. These functions are already build it to the application and will need to be configured as per each customers requirement.

Hi,

For SAP B1 you can be Functional consultant and technical consultant.

For Functional Consultant - You must have good knowledge in business scenario's (ie., marketing(Sales and Purchase), Inventory, Accounting, Production). So that you can implement the project without any issues in short span of time.

For Technical Consultant - You should know .net. Since in SAP B1 Add-ons will be developed using .net only. And you should know to write SQL queries.
