Problem adding BP

Hi,

My customer is getting a error message saying another user is modifying the table when he is trying to add a new business partner but he is the only one currently accessing the application. Anybody can advise? Thanks in advance.

Fabian,

You get this error when the data in the database for the record is updated while you the record open on the screen.

This sometimes happens when a routine / formatted search / other procedure updates the database directly.

This can also point towards some corruption in the database.

Please post a support message to SAP and get them to look at this.

The Fields CRD1.Street, CRD1.Block, CRD1.ZipCode, CRD1.City, CRD1.County, CRD1.Country, CRD1.State, CRD1.LicTradNum, CRD1.taxCode, CRD1.Building, CRD1.AddrType, CRD1.Address2, CRD1.Address3, CRD1.StreetNo.

Note: Keep in Mind while Updating County, Country, State

One of the above mentioned fields doesn't contain any value which is resulting into non update of Business Partner

The solution for this is, contact your Channel Partner which will help you in updating these blank fields with 'NULL'

DO NOT MODIFY THE DB IN ANY WAY. If you do you may cause further corrputions.

I am not exactly sure why it is giving that error but I keep on getting that error Specially when I update once and if I update the BP details in the Same window again.

If you close the window (when you get that error) and re open it in a new window and do the changes It should works fine.

Hope this might help until you get the reason and proper fix for the problem
