SAP CAL S/4HANA 1709 - MyInbox not showing PO data

Hi,

I spun up a new S/4HANA 1709 Fully Activated applicance via SAP CAL yesterday. Most things work as expected, however I have an issue with MyInbox within the scenario of releasing Purchase Orders. If I open the MyInbox app I can see the following:

As others have experienced, the actual data relating to the POs is not being pulled through from the backend. I'm about 95% sure I've been through all of the requisite config (thanks to the wonderful contents in Jocelyn Dart's blog posts and the wider wiki contents) and everything appears correct, with the underlying OData and SICF services activated correctly.

However, as the shot above shows it still ain't working!

Anyone got ideas what I'm missing, or have you managed to fix this in your 1709 CAL system?

Cheers,

G.

Oh and perhaps take a look at 2398026 - The detail information of purchasing items is not displayed in Fiori My Inbox for purchasing document approval

    Hi Ryan,

Go to SWFVISU --> TASK TS20000166 and ADD the missing parameter QUERY_PARAM01.

    QUERY_PARAM01 = annotations=/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/CATALOGSERVICE;v=2/Annotations(TechnicalName='C_PURCHASEORDER_FS_ANNO_MDL',Version='0001')/$value

I think it will solve the problem.

    Hi Gareth,

There are some SAP Notes about this problem... and it can also be a caching issue. You might also want to take a quick look at the Console log and check for any sneaky 403 errors or resource not found errors or could not load annotation file errors.

Make sure you have cleared both the frontend and backend OData model caches, and cleared your web browser data, then refresh as per 2319491 - How to clean up the cache after applying changes that affect SAP Fiori app

If that doesn't do it - check for the latest SAP Notes for component CA-INB-FIO such as

2417771 - Purchase requisition details not displayed from My inbox. Error occured. Return code 500

    or

2482699 - Fiori - Uncaught (in promise) Error: Could not load annotation URL when opening Fiori app

IMPORTANT: If you are getting the could not load annotation file error, in transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE you will need to find BOTH versions of the CATALOG service and make sure NEITHER of them is assigned a system alias. (Trust me on this!!!) .

As a rule I just throw on all the notes relevant to my release/SP - it's such a heavily used app you may as well get all the fixes in one hit.

Hint: You might want to try expert mode as well - you'll find that mentioned in SAP Note 2485657 - Expert Mode (Table view) in My Inbox

    Cheerks

    Jocelyn

    Thanks all for the help.

Thanks to the joys of multiple S-Numbers and no time to think, I completely forgot about posting this question!

    I'll work through the suggestions...
