Hi,

we use a LSMW to migrate some Customers in MDG.
With the first LSMW we create the Customer. The BP will be create via CVI. We use XD01 in the LSMW.

The second LSMW update the same customer and insert a international address with version 'I'.

The addresses are created with the Bapi BAPI_ADDRESSORG_SAVEREPLICA. For each customer this is called individually and then called

BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
For the customer it works find but we had the problem that only the first BP get the addressversion. The following dont get the address version.

Maybe someone had a solution for this or can say what is wrong there?

Thanks and Br,

Markus

Hi Markus,

Please check your settings -

https://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_08/helpdata/en/24/25c55368511d4be10000000a174cb4/frameset.htm.

Are you using S/4 HANA ,then there is a SAP note.

check for any dumps in ST22.

If you dont get any clue, Ask your ABAPer to check run time processing. ABAPer can able to understand what is missing apart from that this process works fine.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Markus,

LSMW is not a supported tool for data migration into SAP MDG. You should consider using the Data Import Framework (DIF). DIF supports the import of customer IDocs (DEBMDM format) and thus ensures that the BPs and Customers are synched correctly.

One of the main reasons is that LSMW is not aware of any key mapping. This might cause further, undesired side effects.

Kind regards

Michael
