How many roles we can include in 1 TR

Hi,

Could you please let me know, the Maximum number of roles we can include a single TR(Transport Request).

And please let me know, if we include more number of roles (e.g. 2000 roles) in single TR, will it cause any consequences and how can we approach on this.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Regards,

App.

    Hi Apprau,

You can have as many Objects as you want,

but as at the release of the transport request every obect is beeing checked

whether they are active or not

it is recommended to switch off this Object search at such transport requests because Authorisationstransports

    can have many many objects.

The way how you can make it :

Please read these 3 SAP notes carefully.

    .

Note 89466 - TIMEOUT during release of transport requests

Note 564285 - New project status switches

Note 358688 - Performance with request release: TLOCKPC

    Kind regards

    Hello,

yes, there is a limitation of 50.000 in case of use of transaction SCC1 (copy between client).

Check note Note 184037 - CC-ERROR: Table not copied, more than 50,000 entries

    Check also

Note 571276 - PFCG: Transporting roles

    Note 45796 - CC-TOPIC: SCC1 - Copy according to transport request

    Best regards.
