Searching for a value based on position

Hi Frnds,

I have a defined a Cost Center ( 8 char length).

Now i want to find cost center on a value which is at the 4th position, how to go abt it.

eg : Cost Center : 11092005

In the above e.g '9' is at the 4th position, i want search function to display all values which has '9' at the 4th position.

Hi,

Use wild cards for selection.

In the screen of KS13 select cost center feild and press F4.

In the drop down give three astricks followed by 4 and astricks.

and enter.

This will give you teh desired result.

Hi

we are modifying an existing infospoke with an additioanl field . Now when we execute in background, it is throwing an error

Runtime Error DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR

Exception CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB

We are working on SAP BW 3.0B version.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi:

If you want to see the all the cost centers you have created

use t.code ks13.

Select your controlling area from menu path-extras.mention your controlling area.

then select All cost centers radio button.enter the dates.

you will get all the cost centers you have created.
