Error is with ORACLE_HOME that you mentioned on the screen.

Check what you have in /oracle/DSK/12102.....Move/remove all the contents as you are just going to install new Oracle software in this directory.

    Hello,

You are installing 12c, the oracle base has to be /oracle/DBSID if you are installing a single instance (see note 1521371)

    Hi,

Screenshot is misleading as it has a warning on that.

For your question: Oracle 12c installation guide says, follow that.

This screen displays the value of ORACLE_BASE, which is set in the environment, and which should be /oracle/<DBSID>.

This screen also displays the value of ORACLE_HOME, which should be /oracle/<DBSID>/<release>, and ORACLE_BASE, which should be /oracle/<DBSID>.

See SAP Note 1521371 for more information on setting ORACLE_BASE for your configuration.

    Select Next.

If you see the following error message from the OUI, you can safely ignore it and continue with the installation:

[INS-32008] Oracle base location can't be same as user home directory
