Hello experts,

we are trying to set up SDI from SCP to an on-premise S4HANA system. we have installed the DP Agent on a local machine and registered the HANA Adaptor. The initial load by using a replication task works just fine and the data is copied.

However, when we enable the initial load + real-time option, we get the below error.

exception 151050: CDC add subscription failed: Failed to add the first subscription. Error: com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.JDBCDriverException: SAP DBTech JDBC: [258]: insufficient privilege: Not authorized

We have granted the authorizations mentioned in the note 2486129 to _SYS_REPO user already.

Please help.

Thanks,

Ajith

Hey, I hope you are fine!

We have the same problem here. Did you solve it? If yes, how did you do it? Can you help us?

Many thanks.

Hi Thallita,

We have resolved it by assigning CREATE ANY privilege on the SAPABAP1 schema for the S4HANA source system user.

Thanks,

Ajith
