OBY2 Problem

Hi,

I tried using the OBY2 after having done a OBY7 from 1000. Now the problem is when I run the OBY2 there is no problem for test run. But when the production run is made it comes up with an error:" " is not a valid language. Message No. TK295

Now on seeking a detail error report it tells me that:

Key with Language" " was specified for table SKAS. This is not a valid language. This applies to field SPRAS.

Enter Valid Language . Table T002 contains list of Valid Languages.

I am utterly confused. Tried changing the languages at the chart of accounts/company/company code level but without any change.

Please help me out as I am not able to copy the accounts from 1000.

Rgds

Chek the whether both the companies are using the same cahrt of accounts? The pre requiste is that these two companies shoul use the same chart of accounts.

When you copied teh COA in OBY7 you copied to a different name. If you notice the list doesn't contain the language feild.

When You do OBY2 the system is looking for a langauge field which is not available and giving the error.

You assign the COA to your company code and then copy the company code data to your company.

Reward points if useful.
