Is it possible to install another SAP system into HACMP environment?

Hi all,

We are considering to implement a CRM system in HACMP environment, server 1 is for productive system, server 2 for dialog instance. When server1 is crushed, the resourse can be failover to server2. The resourse include filesystems /usr/sap, /sapmnt, /usr/sap/trans, /db2, and virtual IP address and service name.

We want to install another system (Develop system) on server2. But some problems occurred:

We create filesystems /usr/sap, /sapmnt, /db2 for DEV system on it's hard disk, but the HACMP's failover failed from server1 to server2 because the filesystems' mount points was used on server2.

My question is: is it possible to install another SAP system on server2, if can, how to set the filesystem's name? Can we use /usr/sapdev, /sapmntdev, /db2dev for DEV's installation?

Or is there have other solution for this kind of installaiton?

Thanks!

Michael Wang
