to connect problem.....TRNS dir not sset

Dear all,

i am trying apply support pach i got tp related problem

in sid adm user if i execute $tp connect SID

i got error like "

tp connect KBD

This is tp version 340.07 (release 640)

E-TPSETTINGS could not be opened.

EXIT

ERROR: System : Parameter SAPEVTPATH not set. Batch jobs cannot be started.

Error in TPSETTINGS: transdir not set.

tp returncode summary:

TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0

ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0208

tp finished with return code: 208

meaning:

error in transportprofil (param missing, unknown,...)

how to resolve this issue.

Since release 6.10 it´s necessary to add the transport profile to the command line:

 
tp connect <SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL

Yes,

i done, i created one virtual system and configured standard two system landscape. and confi is distributed also.

let me know what is problem in my stms config

- logon in client 000

- start transaction SPAM

- execute "Utilities - check transport tool"

If the output is the same, check on OS level if the mentioned profile is accessible.

Hi Marks,

but i am gettind problem while apply the sapm update.

it check the CHECK _REQUIREMENTS...

it shows tp con't connect system.

How to resolve this

did you setup TMS (transaction STMS) in client 000 before importing?
