Issue on BOM creation

Hi,

My issue is on constructing the BOM as per my client's requirement.This is a fabrication work.They want to cut some rectangular sizes of glass from a big size blank.The blank is in squre meters and we need to cut it in to the two different size pieces.

Please let me know how to map this scenario in SAP?

Hi,

It depends on the Material Masters you maintain for diffrennt Rectangular Sizes of Glass.

If you maintain for diffrenet sizes diffent Material masters then there will not be any problem.

You eliminate the Cutting process from Blank to Glass. Do not Map this.

Yes there will be a problem with out maping this, But this simplifies entire process.

There will be requirements for your Glass depending upon the BOM Component Quanity so depending upon that you cut your Pices from Blank..
