Hi,
In Strict2XML plain bean, in the parameters we are using fixed length, the field seperator is not working as a result 1 space is moves towards right which is disturbing the required format.
Is there any alternate to the Field Seperator?
Pl provide me the inputs.
Thanks ,
Srinivasa
Hi,
in the parameters we are using fixed length, the field separator is not working
Whenever we are using Field fixed lengths there is no need to use field separator.
If u are using fixed field lengths in FCC parameters
fieldNames,fieldFixedLengths,endSeparator is enough.
If u are using fieldseparator in FCC parameters
fieldNames,fieldSeparator,endSeparator is enough.

Hi,
Since you are using fixedFieldLength, then it doesn't make any sense to use the field separator. (If you want to have field separator just increase the length of your fixed fields).
Example: If you have fixed length as 7,2,1,2,10 then you will get the output like this "Sarveshisaxicosultant" . and if you want a field separator then just increase the fixed length like this..
8,3,2,3,11 now you will get the output like this. "Sarvesh is a xi consultant " .

Sarvesh

Hi Srinivasa
I am not clear why do intend to use both fixed length and field seperator.
You can define whether a recordset type in the document is displayed as text with a fixed field width, or in a separate list with a user-defined separator.
