When we run a query that does a "DBSEL" of more than 2,000,000 records we get the following error.
The DBTRANS is lower based on the same execution via aggregates so that we know it will work using the old OLAP/Aggregates technique.
Wanted to see if anyone else was hitting this same situation and what they did about it.
Diagnosis
The volume of data that is to be read from the BIA server is too large (default value > 2,000,000 records). To avoid negatively impacting other users and the stability of the BIA server, this data is not delivered back to the BA system, but instead there is a termination.
System Response
Procedure
Navigate back, add additional filter conditions to further restrict the result, and execute the navigation step again.
If this is not possible, notify your system administrator and request that the database is used for this query instead of the BIA.
