Lost BP relationship in BUT050 & BUT052

hi all,

i have BP data in BUT000 but dono somehow entries in BUT050 & BUT052 were lost.

when i used bbp_check_users, it recommended level 2 repair which i donot want to have new BP#.

is there any way to generate bp relationship? or any alternative?

Hi. If you are on SRM 4 or below and go to PPOMA_BBP and find the position of the user that relates to the BP, and then right click on it and select "Assign" you should be able to re-assign the BP and that will re-create the relationship.

Then you can right click on the BP and assign again and add the user and it should be OK.

If you are on SRM 5 you might have to assign the CP and hope it all comes through OK.

Failing that on SRM 5 you might have to change to the user search option in PPOMA_BBP first down the left hand side and work upside down in the org plan.

I am also facing same kind of issue. When I try to delete and assign the objects again then also the relationship is not generated. We are on SRM 5.0. Extended classic scenario.

you may try this program B_REPAIR_EBP_USER_2 to repair level 1. use FM BP_CENTRALPERSON_GET to get person id. the relationships act very weird. for my case i didn't expect this program to work but it worked. -faint-

Dear All,

We have the same problem, but in SRM 7.0.

The program B_REPAIR_EBP_USER_2 doesn't exist anymore.

Does anybody have an other solution?

Hi. I would try this in a test system first, but you could try these BAPI function mudules:

BAPI_BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CHANGE

BAPI_BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CREATE

BAPI_BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_DELETE

hi david, the FM didn't work, i think it fixes stg else.

currently i have no record for the BP in BUT050 & BUT052.

need to find a way to add the records in these 2 tables.

there is on relationship "Create" button in t-code BP but alredi greyed out.
