Dear Experts,

we are struggling to restrict equipment number once it has consumed with 261 movement for Finished goods.

Below are the details:

We are having serialised Header material lets say CAR (In house Goods) and serialised components e.g Engine. (Brought out Part)

This is MTO scenario in S\4 Hana 1709 verison.

Step 1. Created Equipment master (Synchronous with Serial number) for CAR lets say CAR001 & for ENGINElets say ENG001

Step 2. Created Sales order for CAR (VA01)

Step 3: Run MRP (MD50)

Step 4: Converted Purchase requisition to Purchase order for Engine { prerequisites of this step - Created Equipment master (IE01) for Engine (Synchronous with Serial number) serial no: ENG001 }

System Status appeared in IE03 is "AVLB"

Step 5: Goods received against Purchase order (MIGO) for ENG001 . Now, system Status appeared for ENG001 in IE03 is "ESTO" (i.e. its updated with Movement 101)

Step 6: Converted planned order to production order for CAR { prerequisites of this step - Created Equipment master (IE01) for CAR (Synchronous with Serial number) serial no: CAR001 }

Step 7: As no back flush applicable with serial number profile in material master we are doing GR & GI activities in MIGO like GI against production order (261 E)& GR against Production order (101 E) for production order confirmation & component consumption.(kindly comment if any better way to do this postings )

STEP 8: after successful consumption of 'ENG001" (i.e. after 261 movement) System status again appeared "AVLB" (i.e. its not updating with 261 E) &

CAR001 is appeared with system status "ESTO"

So whenever user check the report in IQ09 , previous consumed serial numbers are appeared with AVLB status along with newly created serial numbers.

So query is how we can linked serial number with movement types so once they got consumed wont used again?

Thanks & Regards,

Prasad.

ESTO Means the stock is available for that Material & Serial Number.

AVLB status is that Equipment is available for Installing the same to some other superior object.

Changing this system status control will hamper SAP. So, please configure user status to update the same.

Dear Maheswaran,

As you said, Configured user status profile with few status like CRTD, ASSY, CONS.

This is REM scenario.

So when I create Equipment master in IE01 user status appeared CRTD, (Engine in house Mfg) when I received the Engine i.e GR with 101 movement , User status will update to ASSY and I can check the posted document in IE03 in history tab in serial number Data.

only concern is when I done MFBF for CAR , Engine Stock getting consumed(261 movement) but no changes in User Status appeared also while doing MFBF transaction serial number pop up is missing.

Kindly revert

Regards,

Prasad
