MRP issue

Dear MM consultants,

One small clarification

I am having 3 plant say x, y ,z.

when i run mrp for plant X the reqt of particular matls of y & z to be created X.

Becas X always procure matl for y and Z

what are all config and master data setting reqd to ac\heive this
