What is Sytem number and System ID when setting the SAP Login?

for example , System nubmer is 05, System ID is 'CSS' and so forth.

hi,

Acctually both specifies which SAP system you want to Connect..(e.g. 00)

One is System number .(e.g. 00) .

and other is System ID (e.g. OSS).
