401 : Unauthorized error while connecting to HCI endpoint

Hi,

While trying connecting from SAP PI to an HCI AS2 endpoint. We are getting 401:Unauthorized response from the HCI server.

What could be the cause of this ? or in which case does HCI send 401 response ?

Hello Mohit,

It could be the case theat user which you are using to hit AS2 endpoint of SAP CPI dont have ESBMessaging.send role.

Also you might need to check whether B2B functionalities are enabled in SAP CPI or not ( it is enabled only Enterprise Edition ).

Also it would be great if you can share some more details about he sceanrio you would like to achieve.
