Hi Experts,
I have a percentage field as a key field with another key field for amount. I have to build a report with MTD and YTD numbers. I need exception aggregation for %age key field. I tried the Average (values not equal to zero) but this one doesnt give me the expected numbers.
Has any one built a solution where he/she has used %age fields and defined any particular exception aggregation for it to work.

Hi,
Sorry I did not understand your report layout.
If this is your report layout, then RESULT should also compute based on the formula of your %age. I assume that the 3rd row is your RESULT row, right?
Period 1 20 100 0.20000
Period 2 15 50 0.30000
Period 2 YTD 35 150 0.23333
RESULT should also give you 0.23333 in the %age...
If it is showing an incorrect value, do this...
Click your %age field, choose SUMMATION in the EXCEPTION AGGREGATION tab and PERIOD as your REFERENCE CHARACTERISTIC...

Loed

Time Sales Gross Sales %age
Period 1 20 100 0.20000
Period 2 15 50 0.30000
Period 2 YTD 35 150 0.23333 Expected numbers
0.25 This is what i am getting because i am using Average Exception Aggregation.
I have % age calculated with the data loads i just need to figure out how can i display the %ages in the report.
