Printer differences

I have a good one today, as they say when it rains it pours!!

We are working with the PLD and see that on some printers the forms come out perfectly and onanother printer (Brother) they come out misaligned. where i have an issue is with the $ sign that I have printing in the footer of an Invoice.

What to do?

The other question is there someway to get get the $ integrated into a database field which already contains a price?
