Error while changing SYSTEM password in SAP HANA express editions in VM Ware

Hi All,

I followed the steps which is mentioned in "Getting started HANA express VM pdf.

but I am not able do the below activities.

1. Not able to change the SYSTEM password (getting error PFA).

2. Not able to see below server when I checked in VM ware using command HDB info:

• hdbnameserver
• hdbcompileserver
• hdbpreprocessor
• hdbwebdispatcher

3. Not able to access my local VM ware server in HANA studio (Eclipse).

Please find attached screenshot for the same and Please guide me to solve the error.

It looks like the server is not actually started, type in the command HDB start instead of HDB info and you should see the following

Then type HDB info again
